    Mashuk Miah

    Consultant Chef

Arriving in the country in 1964 he was initially required to work as a “coffee waiter”. But after seeing the state of the toilets and the behaviour of some customers on his first day he decided that his temperament would be better suited for the kitchen. Since that day on the skills of this chef have developed combined with his natural flair for innovation resulted in having opened more than 13 restaurants.

Customer testimonials

  • A very relaxed atmosphere when I entered the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and know the types of curry to recommend to individual customers. Excellent service I must admit like a five star service back in London. The food was excellent and I feel that the Chef took his time on creating a signature dish for me.
  • This was my first visit. Took quiet a while to decide what to have some much to choose from and so different from any other Indian menu I've seen. Staff very friendly and as Mark S says nice to see the patron out talking to all customers. Can't wait to go again.
  • Fantastic, innovative food. The meal was fantastic and the building has some character. Nice to see the patron out visiting tables too to talk to his customers. Can't wait to visit again.
